As part of the Sales & Marketing division of AIA Corporate Solutions for the tied agency distribution channel, this role is responsible for developing new business by assisting tied agency distribution in their prospecting efforts to acquire new corporate customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Achieve new business sales targets and other key performance indicators as prescribed by the company.
  • Establish and maintain a strong business relationship with AIA Financial Services Consultants (FSCs) and their Agency Leaders to acquire new corporate insurance business.
  • Pro‑actively set appointments and personally meet with Agency Leaders/FSCs during their monthly agency meetings.
  • Provide timely and accurate prospect information and sales activity data for management reporting and sales forecasting.
  • Provide timely new business sales proposals/quotations to FSCs for their new prospects in accordance with guidelines on business acceptance, risk management and underwriting profitability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of new business employee data, including placement documentation for billing, and liaise with internal operations team to resolve servicing and operational matters.
  • Follow up on outstanding policy premium collection promptly to ensure compliance with internal credit control.
  • Pitch and deliver corporate sales presentations jointly with FSCs, and support and jointly conduct Employee Communication Sessions with newly acquired corporate customers.
  • Participate in scheduled sales training and other professional development courses to enhance sales skills and meet mandatory CPD hours requirement to ensure Fit & Proper.
  • Undertake other projects as assigned, such as product/service enhancements and market analysis.
  • Work at the AIA Agency Locations, namely Alexandra and Tampines.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under deadlines and pressure.

  • Professional in appearance and demeanour, comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Meticulous, service‑oriented and team player.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills & relationship‑building.
  • Tertiary degree or diploma or equivalent industry qualifications.
  • Candidates with CMFAS M5, M9, HI, BCP, PGI and ComGI certification will have an advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in sales and marketing in Employee Benefits / Group Insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of Life and Health insurance products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
