The Innovation Manager will play a crucial role in supporting CIH's various initiatives, managing innovative healthcare projects, and driving the clinical adoption of NUHS Practice Changing Innovations (PCI) within the NUHS ecosystem and beyond.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support CIH to lead the management of CIH team to deliver CIH’s services and KPIs including charting of CIH’s strategy and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Support CIH Head to lead the Practice Changing Innovations (PCI) programme to drive innovations towards deployment and adoption in NUHS hospitals, clinics and healthcare community and beyond.
  • Support the flagship NUHS PCI programme to deploy innovations that transform care delivery and improve population health.
  • Project manage selected innovations under the PCI programme, driving them towards deployment and adoption in NUHS hospitals, clinics, and healthcare community.
  • Ensure project milestones are met for PCIs under your charge.
  • Coordinate and submit PCI progress reports in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a member of the PCI secretariat, providing support for the organization and smooth conduct of annual PCI Advisory Board (AB) meetings and updates.
  • Work closely with CIH team to manage external and internal innovators interested in collaborating with NUHS.
  • Collaborate with CIH Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC) for end-to-end management of projects and clinical trials.
  • Ensure project milestones are met for innovations under your charge.
  • Cultivate and maintain good relationships with clinical champions and the PCI teams.
  • Assist in forging new partnerships and maintaining relationships with CIH healthcare ecosystem partners to support CIH innovators.
  • Work with the CIH team to strengthen engagement of healthcare ecosystem partners through organization of CIH events and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Manage new interests to engage CIH services effectively and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Support health innovators and promote the culture of 'Everyone an Innovator' by guiding students, clinicians, and staff interested in innovations.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating innovation events, social media platforms and ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements

  • At least Bachelor of Science or equivalent. Other qualifications in Business or Entrepreneurship preferred.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in health innovation project management or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems.
  • Strong understanding and interests in health innovations as well as health innovation processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Experience in complex stakeholder management and partnership development.
  • Familiarity with clinical research processes and health technology assessment is a plus.
  • Proficient in I.T. systems and MS Office applications.
