Job purpose: To provide optimal level of care in accordance with established policies and procedures. To assist in activities and programs promoting healthy aging for clients.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in taking clients’ vital signs.
- Report to superior if any abnormality observed.
- Conduct activities with clients.
- Assist client in showering, ambulation/exercise, and toileting.
- Kitchen duties which involve simple food preparation.
- Disinfect and clean Centre and equipment.
- Perform escort duty for van transport.
- Assist enrolled Nurse / Registered Nurse as required.
- Other additional operational duties as assigned by Centre Manager.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Care of elderly related certificate would be an advantage.
- Compassion, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Escort for medical activities.
- Support and care towards the residents.
- Work on shift including weekends.
