Consortio has partnered with a specialist subsea risk consultancy that operates as part of a global risk and insurance network. The organisation provides advisory services across the offshore and subsea sectors, supporting clients with complex risk management challenges within marine, energy, and subsea operations. Due to continued business expansion and an increasing workload, they are now seeking an individual to join their team in the UK.

This position will play a key role in shaping and delivering subsea risk advisory services. The successful candidate will work closely with clients across the offshore and subsea industries, providing expert guidance on operational and insurance-related risk. The role combines technical understanding with commercial awareness, requiring someone who can build relationships, contribute to business growth, and represent the organisation at a senior industry level. The role offers a flexible working arrangement with a requirement to attend the London office approximately once per week, alongside occasional international travel.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • A degree in a science or technical discipline relevant to subsea, offshore, or marine operations
  • Professional experience within insurance, risk consultancy, offshore operations, or subsea engineering
  • Strong understanding of subsea or offshore operational environments
  • Confident and personable communication style with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel internationally and attend the London office on a weekly basis
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with experience managing a business unit or operating independently considered an advantage
