As a Technical Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day technical management of a fleet of container vessels.
Working closely with the Fleet Manager and Technical Superintendents, you will be responsible for coordinating technical documentation, planned maintenance records, spare parts, vessel reporting and class compliance.
You will also assist with dry dock planning, monitor vessel performance through fleet management software and ensure key technical data remains accurate and up to date.
This position is ideal for someone looking to develop a long-term career within technical ship management while gaining exposure to all aspects of fleet operations in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Diploma in Marine Engineering or a related discipline, with a Class 5, 4 or 3 Certificate of Competency considered advantageous.
- 1β2 years of experience within a ship management company or vessel owner in a technical or engineering support role.
- Previous experience using planned maintenance systems such as DNV, AMOS, BASSnet, PAL or similar fleet management software.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accurate technical records and reports.
- A proactive team player with strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and a genuine desire to build a successful career within technical ship management.
