Responsibilities
- Joining a team of dedicated professionals, you will play a key role in delivering world‑class maritime education.
- Preparing and delivering course material.
- Assessing student progress.
- Managing and administering specified courses.
- Providing mentorship.
- Working with simulators; prior simulator experience is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Officer of the Watch Unlimited (or higher) qualification.
- Experience in deck operations, ideally within the Merchant Navy.
- A passion for teaching and developing future marine professionals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in the UK (either permanent or limited‑time post‑education).
- Previous lecturing or instructional experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with maritime training simulators is a strong advantage.
