Responsibilities

  • Joining a team of dedicated professionals, you will play a key role in delivering world‑class maritime education.
  • Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering course material, assessing student progress, managing and administering specified courses, and providing mentorship.
  • A significant part of the role involves working with simulators, making prior simulator experience highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Officer of the Watch Unlimited (or higher) qualification
  • Experience in deck operations, ideally within the Merchant Navy
  • A passion for teaching and developing future marine professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Right to work in the UK (either permanent or limited‑time post‑education)
  • Previous lecturing or instructional experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Familiarity with maritime training simulators is a strong advantage
