We are seeking a Design Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) to join a specialist organisation within the marine engineering and consultancy sector, supporting the design and development of marine assets and technical systems.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Experience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or equivalent to produce accurate designs and detailed engineering drawings.
  • Demonstrable progression toward Engineering Council registration at Incorporated Engineer level or above.
  • Good working knowledge of marine machinery and/or electrical and electronic systems, such as propulsion, drivetrains, diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, seawater systems, navigation, communications, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in standard IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office applications.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Full rights to live and work in the UK.
