Consortia has been exclusively retained to find a software-focused product manager to work with a growing logistics provider who, backed by significant investment, is developing its technology further, offering new services and expanding its business in the UK. This senior product manager or product leader will play a pivotal role in the growth of the business while developing their management skills in supporting a small cross-functional team.

As the senior product manager, you will create the product roadmap, ensure product-market fit and use a commitment to user-centred design to support product enhancements and features. The team are all predominantly office-based, so while this is a hybrid role, it should be seen as an onsite position that allows home working to ensure maximum time face to face with the rest of the business. This isn't being in the office to be seen; it's about being in the office to be a vital part of the business and culture and get the cross-functional team building and delivering a best-in-class piece of software.

Ideally, you'll be a product manager who:

  • Understands stakeholder management skills and has experience working at all levels, from graduates to C-suite.
  • Is comfortable managing a small team through the entire product life cycle.
  • Has natural problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Has an affinity for UX and design that works for users.
  • Has a history of conducting market research and competitor analysis to validate your choices.

It would be great if you have experience as a product manager or time in an industry across the logistics, transportation, distribution, or shipping industry.

Location: North Manchester. Salary: 60,000 - 70,000.
