You’ll join a highly collaborative product engineering team building complex software used within heavily regulated industries. The systems need to be secure, reliable, scalable, and designed with long-term maintainability in mind. The environment is backend focused, with the majority of engineering work centred around architecture, APIs, data modelling, system performance, and platform reliability. Alongside building new functionality, you’ll also contribute to improving existing systems, reducing technical debt, and shaping how the platform evolves.
You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to design and deliver software that operates at enterprise scale while maintaining the speed and agility of a smaller team. The current stack includes Symfony, PostgreSQL, and Vue.js, though strong engineers from other modern backend environments are encouraged to apply. If you’ve worked extensively with PHP, Laravel, Java, or .NET and are comfortable moving into a Symfony-driven ecosystem, you’ll be well suited to the role.
