Insight Manager – Retail
Location: London | Hybrid | Competitive Salary

We are currently supporting a leading retail client in their search for an Insight Manager to drive data-led decision-making across their business. This role will be instrumental in shaping strategy through customer, digital, and brand insights, ensuring that data is at the heart of commercial and operational decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced insight and analytics professional with a strong background in retail insights, looking to take ownership of insight functions and make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on all customer, digital, and brand insights, ensuring key business functions are equipped with actionable data.
  • Drive a customer-led approach, influencing strategy through robust analytics and reporting.
  • Implement and optimise measurement frameworks for new digital initiatives and site functionality.
  • Develop and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, directors, and third-party partners.
  • Support site optimisation strategies and customer research initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and business goals.
  • Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in insight and analytics roles within retail – this is essential.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, SQL, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics, customer data, and business intelligence.
  • Exceptional data storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience managing external agencies, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation tools.
  • Knowledge of statistics or data science, with experience in Python or R being advantageous.
  • Previous line management experience is desirable.
