Consortia is leading the search for a Developer Advocate with a focus on developer marketing and education for a company building advanced tooling for engineers working in distributed systems and applied cryptography. As the company prepares for a broader launch, they are looking to add a Developer Advocate to help grow, support and empower the developer community building on their SDK and network. If you enjoy being hands-on with technology, creating content that unblocks developers, and working closely with engineering teams, this role will feel like home. This is a practical, developer-facing role that blends technical guidance, community interaction, documentation, demos, and early-stage developer support. You’ll be the bridge between external builders and the internal engineering team ensuring developers get the clarity, support and examples they need to build real applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain sample applications, reference implementations, Postman collections, and “Hello World” experiences.
  • Represent developers internally by feeding back pain points, friction, and improvement areas to Engineering and Product.
  • Contribute to documentation structure, clarity and accuracy in partnership with the engineering and product content teams.
  • Participate in online community spaces GitHub, forums, Discord/Slack offering support, testing edge cases, and identifying patterns in developer needs.
  • Assist with demos, live walkthroughs, and webinars or meetups.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the overall developer experience is smooth, fast and well supported.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, or developer tools.
  • Ability to read and reason about code (JS, Python or similar).
  • Comfort using GitHub, CLI tools, Postman/cURL, and standard developer workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply and accurately.
  • A collaborative approach you will work closely with engineers, product and technical content teams.
  • Comfort in early-stage environments where autonomy and initiative matter.
  • A genuine desire to help developers solve problems and build meaningful applications.
