This is a remote-first opportunity, but candidates must reside in the UK for at least 11 months of the year. Consortia is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a pioneering force in cutting-edge SAAS technology and play a pivotal role in shaping the progression of their delivery and products.
As a vital component of their Technology division, the Senior Backend Engineer will be at the forefront of constructing scalable and dependable systems based on a MERN Tech stack. You will join a friendly, helpful team with excellent cohesion and collaboration. Your time will be focused on working across the most exciting project work the company has available, work that is complex and challenging with many moving parts. In time, there is excellent scope for career progression and the opportunity to step into a Team Lead role if you desire to do so.
Requirements:- 5+ years of commercial MERN stack experience, boasting a solid history of delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Essential familiarity with Node, TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB.
- Display expertise in CI/CD pipelines, immutable infrastructure, containers, and serverless architectures.
- Proven capacity to handle intricate problems and guide them to resolution independently.
- B2B SAAS products experience is advantageous.
- AWS Amplify is nice to have.
- Demonstrate the ability to address challenges independently, assuming full responsibility for problem-solving.
- Collaborate seamlessly within interdisciplinary engineering teams, overseeing the entire lifecycle of solutions.
- Apply a robust product-oriented mindset to tackle ambiguous problems, pinpoint root causes, and suggest optimal resolutions.
