The company Consolidated Timber Holdings (CTH) Ltd is a UK market leading group of customer focused, innovative and forward thinking companies, supplying sustainable timber products to the construction and joinery markets across the UK and Ireland. Triesse and Hoffman Thornwood form the manufacturing division of our business and has two plants in Sherburn-in-Elmet near Leeds LS25 6EZ. Combined, they are one of the UK’s largest independent processors of wood-based panels and manufacturers of veneered and laminated boards.

We are seeking a commercially minded Business Systems Analyst – Manufacturing to play a key role in the ongoing development of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment and wider business systems landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business during a period of significant change as we bring together two manufacturing businesses onto a single site and within a single integrated ERP platform.

Working closely with the Director of Business Finance & Technology, our Manufacturing FP&A Business Partner and external technology partners, you will help shape how our systems, processes and data support the future growth of the business. You will support across manufacturing, operations, finance and commercial teams to improve business processes, enhance data quality and deliver greater insight to support decision-making.

Working arrangements: Hybrid working at LS25 6EZ with occasional travel.

The role offers a unique blend of business analysis, systems development and project work. As our systems and operations continue to evolve, you will have the opportunity to contribute to major initiatives, including the ongoing enhancement of Business Central and our planned migration from on-premise infrastructure to a SaaS-based environment over the next 12–24 months. Alongside your systems responsibilities, you will also take ownership of IT asset management, ensuring colleagues have the tools and technology they need to work effectively.

This role would suit someone with experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central systems in a manufacturing environment who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and delivering meaningful change through technology.

Skills & experience required:

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience delivering user training and supporting business users.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
