The Opportunity

CPP are Australia’s leading provider of end-to-end substation solutions for the utility and renewable energy sectors. We deliver substations up to 500kV in both greenfield and brownfield applications. Our equipment installation includes power and instrument transformers, indoor and outdoor switchgear, disconnectors, earth switches, capacitors, reactors, static var compensators, synchronous condensers, and resistors.

The Orana BESS will support capacity in the Central-Orana Renewable Energy Zone, occupying 10 hectares adjacent to the electricity grid and sharing a boundary with the Transgrid substation, which will reduce the need for HV power lines and visual impacts. Once this project is completed you will go on to work on other exciting renewable projects.

  • Ensuring the successful completion and execution of the project scope, whilst managing the onsite workers, personnel and contractors
  • Support the management of the project in relation to the schedule and cost
  • Quality assurance of the construction works
