The Opportunity
CPP are seeking an experienced Senior Primary Electrical Engineer to join our large and multidisciplinary engineering team across SA and VIC. You will hold both technical and supervisory responsibilities for the development of high-quality designs for primary high-voltage (HV) systems. You will support the Principal Engineers and develop designs earthing design solutions, undertake arc flash risk assessments, conduct conductor and busbar size assessments, short circuit force assessments and electrical field strength assessments along with other related primary engineering design work. Joining our in-house Design & Engineering Team consisting of over 140 highly experienced professionals, you will provide excellence in Primary HV systems, be an integral part of our team and play a big part in the success of the various flagship renewable and utilities projects CPP have won.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industry
- Expertise in substation design and/or utility grid connections
- Strong knowledge of Australian industry standards
- High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
