Location: Roman Bank, Skegness, Lincolnshire. Occasional cover at Holly Road, Skegness.

Salary: £38,000 – £43,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience).

Job Type: Full‑time.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday rotating shifts – 6:00 am to 2:30 pm / 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and infrastructure.
  • Ensure all work is logged accurately in the maintenance management system (MMS).
  • Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
  • Work closely with operations and production teams to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with company and industry standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Time‑served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3/4, HNC/HND).
  • Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Flexible, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Mitsubishi PLC knowledge and experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
  • Experience of steam generation.
