Job Overview

Join as a GMP Cleaner (field based) at Consolidated Computer Services. This role involves maintaining cleanliness in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments across multiple sites in the Glasgow area and occasionally other North sites. A company van or car will be provided for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning walls, sweeping, emptying litter bins and cleaning equipment to maintain a high audit standard at all times.
  • Producing GDP compliant reports and documentation.
  • Cleaning in sterile environments and administrative areas (offices & toilets).
  • Maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by following work instructions and SOPs.
  • Accurately completing area logbooks as required by SOPs.
  • Checking equipment and machines regularly; reporting faults to the GMP Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Participating in the Health and Safety policy; reporting any hazards to the GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders.
  • Attending training sessions pertaining to the post.
  • Carrying out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders.
  • Liaising daily with the cleaning team, other staff, and customers.
  • Adhering to Quality, Compliance, Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures.

Essential Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence.
  • Good level of written and spoken English.
  • General good health.
  • Reasonable standard of fitness; able to stand and work on feet for most of the day.
  • Prepared to wear full uniform at all times.
  • Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP.
  • Prepared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by the Line Manager.
  • Good standard of IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
  • Flexible regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required.

  • Experience within a similar industry.
  • Team worker with a flexible approach.
  • Knowledge of COSHH.
  • An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
  • Good communication skills.
