Location: Predominantly the Glasgow area, with occasional cover of other areas in the North (company van or car will be provided for travel to the various sites)

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday (varied shift patterns: 8:00‑16:00, 9:00‑17:00, 10:00‑18:00, 12:00‑20:00). 1 weekend out of 4 on call with a shift allowance of £60.00.

Job Purpose: Join our friendly team to maintain cleanliness in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments. You will be responsible for cleaning walls, floors, ceilings, emptying litter bins, and maintaining equipment to meet audit standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Clean walls, floors and ceilings, empty litter bins, and maintain equipment to consistently high audit standards.
Duties
- Produce GDP compliant reports and documentation.
- Clean in the GMP (sterile environment).
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by following work instructions and SOPs.
- Accurately complete area logbooks as required by SOPs.
- Check equipment and machines used during the day; report faults/defects to the GMP Cleaning Supervisor.
- Participate in the health and safety policy of the company and report hazards to the GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders.
- Attend training sessions pertaining to the role.
- Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders.
- Liaise daily with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers.
- Adhere to quality, compliance and environmental, health and safety regulations and Micronclean procedures.
- Training will be provided.
Essential Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Full UK / EU driving licence.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- General good health.
- Ability to work on feet for most of the day.
- Prepared to wear full uniform and PPE as directed.
- Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP.
- Good IT literacy – Microsoft Office.
- Flexible to support other shift patterns when required.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience within a similar industry.
- Team worker with a flexible approach.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- Understanding of GMP and quality systems.
