Consol is a growing national tanning brand with 57 studios nation-wide, leading the field in safe and responsible tanning. We want you to be a part of our future! An exciting opportunity is available at our Yeovil Head Office for a HR Administrator. This role is ideally full-time, 37.5 hours per week, however we are flexible and open to part-time and flexible working arrangements for the right candidate. You will be required to travel to our Bristol office once or twice per month, with occasional travel to studios across the UK when needed.
As a HR Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR across the business. You’ll work closely with the HR Advisor to ensure all HR processes are completed accurately and efficiently, supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to employee relations and leavers. This is a varied and fast-paced role where attention to detail is essential. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to build a long-term career in HR and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of HR activities.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including new starters, contractual changes and leavers
- Preparing contracts of employment, offer letters, and HR correspondence
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems (including BambooHR)
- Managing the HR inbox and acting as the first point of contact for HR queries
- Supporting recruitment activity, including posting adverts and coordinating candidates
- Assisting with onboarding and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed
- Taking notes in formal HR meetings and supporting employee relations processes
- Maintaining compliance records including right-to-work checks, training and probation reviews
- Supporting absence management processes and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with HR reporting, audits and continuous improvement of HR processes
What we are looking for:
Essential
- Previous HR administration experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced administrative environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- A proactive attitude and motivation to build a career within HR
- Flexibility to travel to different studio locations across the UK when required
Desirable
- Experience using HR systems (e.g. BambooHR)
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards
