A multi-site agricultural manufacturer is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to work on a rotating four on four days and nights shift pattern. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of production equipment. You will be a confident Multi Skilled Engineer with the ability in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Commutable from: Chesterfield, Lincoln, Mansfield, Worksop, Newark, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire.
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 p.a. plus pension, health care, free car parking, 20 days holidays.
The Role:
- Conducting routine, reactive and pre-planned maintenance on production machinery.
- Recognising faults, organising and carrying out necessary repairs, ensuring that all faults are logged and reported.
- Support the Engineering Supervisor with project work.
- Maintaining a clean safe plant condition and working to health & safety standards.
- Supporting and delivering continuous improvement strategy across the site.
The Person:
- Apprentice trained within mechanical or electrical engineering with competency in both.
- Experience and skills on SCADA systems and PLCs.
- Experience working within a FMCG/Food manufacturing environment.
- Confident in conducting electrical audits, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Happy to work on a rotating four on four off shift pattern days and nights.
