The Manufacturing Technology Centre is a UK success story - created to provide manufacturing systems solutions in an agile environment in partnership with industry, academia and other institutions. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Business Development Manager. The purpose of the role is to play an integral part of the Events team, paying particular focus on maximising the venues growth strategy by increasing agency sales and securing new business.

The Role

  • As the Business Development Manager you will deliver sales strategies with a proactive approach to developing new sales opportunities.
  • You will use, manage and maintain information in relevant sales, finance and other operational systems i.e Condeco, CRM, AX, sales tools and accounts.
  • You will ensure correct and timely information is provided to finance for invoicing.
  • You will ensure products, sales, customer delivery and follow up are aligned to maintain and build positive and profitable customer relationships.
  • You will be effective at networking and communication between all internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives.

The Person

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager is someone who is experienced in Account Management and experience in producing and reporting against budgets and targets.
