Due to continued growth & expansion a global manufacturer is currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor. An experienced maintenance professional you will be comfortable leading a multi-disciplined team within fast paced manufacturing.

The Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will responsible for leading a multiskilled maintenance team ensuring downtime of machinery is kept to a minimum. The role also focuses on continually improving the reliability of key machines by taking a proactive approach to preventative maintenance activities and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan & control the work for a team of multi skilled Maintenance Engineers on a day today basis
• Implement and control the preventive maintenance plan
• Diagnosing breakdown problems
• To continuously improve machines and services to increase efficiency
• Give technical direction and support to the Maintenance Engineers
• Ensure parts and labour costs are in line with budgets
• Carrying out quality inspections on jobs

The Candidate

With a background in Maintenance you must have proven experience of leading a team within a fast-paced complex manufacturing environment. You will be comfortable working hands on when the need arises.

With a good understanding of best practice, you will have excellent people skills with the ability to get the best out of a team.
