Maintenance Engineer in Redditch

Due to continued growth and expansion a manufacturer of precision components is currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer. Working on a three shift pattern (Monday to Friday) you will be tasked with preventative and reactive maintenance to improve manufacturing on the Shop floor.

Commutable from: Bromsgrove, Redditch, Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Henley In Arden, Solihull, Droitwich.

The Role

Working as a Maintenance Engineer on a three shift pattern (Monday to Friday) you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance for the production areas and additional support for the facility itself.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure machinery/equipment is in safe working condition
• Fault finding/trend analysis
• R ectification of production breakdowns
• C ontinuous improvement of processes

The Person

The successful candidate will be qualified to H NC level or above in an engineering discipline and have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical background and must have experience of providing maintenance support within a fast-paced engineering / manufacturing environment.
