Consilium Recruit are supporting the retail division of a major commercial vehicle manufacturer. They are seeking a Parts Supervisor to lead stock movements and ensure the smooth running of the parts operation. This is a permanent role based at the Depot, working Monday to Friday. Commutable from:  Reading, Slough, Guildford, Working, Newbury Salary: £ Negotiable plus an excellent set of benefits including:  24 days annual leave per year Carry-over up to 5 days annual leave per year 1 x Salary Life Assurance Company Pension Contribution of 5% Private Medical Insurance Over time rates of up to 130% Bonus, incentives, and commission schemes (potential to add 10% to your annual income). The Role The Parts Supervisor will lead the parts team including effective resource planning and organisation of the team in addition to excellent inventory management. You will ensure that excellent customer service levels are achieved including timely fulfilment of orders, providing regular customer updates, and ensuring strong relationships are held with suppliers and vendors. The Parts Supervisor will monitor and manage the parts department budget and ensure the appropriate profit levels are met and exceeded where possible. You will ensure the parts department operates in accordance with the compliance requirements and required safety standard for the business. Working with the sales and marketing team you will support promotional initiatives to create revenue through the parts sales and supply channels. Additionally, you will ensure that all administrative content is kept up to date including goods in/goods out documentation and freight paperwork. The Person  The successful candidate for the Parts Supervisor will possess a proven record in the automotive industry ideally working with parts sales and parts supply for commercial and/or passenger vehicles. You will be highly organised and data-literate, being able to complete administrative documents with high attention to detail and use of a relevant CRM system to track and document parts activity.
