A global food manufacturing company, including fresh produce, supplying major retailers, are seeking a HSE Manager to join their team. This is an onsite role with occasional European travel.

Salary Circa £55,000 p.a. + Excellent Benefits, Pension and Bonus

Location: Leicester

The Role

  • Be responsible for Management of Health & Safety Systems
  • Provide support to the management team by ensuring effective management systems are defined to deliver site and group health & safety/legal requirements
  • Always ensuring compliance with HSE policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with all aspects of food safety and hygiene policies
  • Promote Health & Safety awareness
  • Carry out detailed site audits, highlight concerns and implement improvements
  • Assist in the implementation of projects including investments and new installations.

The Person

  • 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety within an FMCG business
  • NEBOSH Diploma ideally but open to NEBOSH certificate if working in food manufacturing
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire others
  • Ability to impact cultural change
  • Comfortable working in a matrix structure in an international business dealing with multiple stakeholders.
