A global food manufacturing company, including fresh produce, supplying major retailers, are seeking a HSE Manager to join their team. This is an onsite role with occasional European travel.
Salary Circa £55,000 p.a. + Excellent Benefits, Pension and Bonus
Location: Leicester
The Role
- Be responsible for Management of Health & Safety Systems
- Provide support to the management team by ensuring effective management systems are defined to deliver site and group health & safety/legal requirements
- Always ensuring compliance with HSE policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all aspects of food safety and hygiene policies
- Promote Health & Safety awareness
- Carry out detailed site audits, highlight concerns and implement improvements
- Assist in the implementation of projects including investments and new installations.
The Person
- 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety within an FMCG business
- NEBOSH Diploma ideally but open to NEBOSH certificate if working in food manufacturing
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to engage and inspire others
- Ability to impact cultural change
- Comfortable working in a matrix structure in an international business dealing with multiple stakeholders.
