An ambitious engineering and technology company that has envisioned the future of the low‑carbon vehicle markets is looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer to join their brand new team in Solihull.
Commutable from: Solihull, Rugby, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Redditch, Birmingham
The Role Work on site to take the electrical system from a blank sheet of paper through to production.
Engine and vehicle/body harness design with basic knowledge of all connectors, grommets, switches, fuse boxes, electronics etc.
Provide engineering and CAD design support.
Provide feedback and input into the DFMEA/RQA system.
The candidate As an Electrical Systems Engineer you will have a good understanding of vehicle electrical architecture, from concept, through schematic, prototype to production drawings and build instructions.
Must be from an automotive background, having experienced at least two full product life cycles.
Ability to work with connectors, grommets, electronics and all other ancillary components.
Experience with DFMEA.
Degree qualification preferred, though significant professional experience will be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
