Consilium Recruit is supporting Darwin Group with their growth plans. They seek a Design and BIM Coordinator to manage the design process and collate design information, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery metrics are met.

Location: Commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Birmingham

Salary: GBP Negotiable depending on experience, plus benefits:

The Role

Darwin Group is a leading UK modular construction provider for healthcare, delivering projects faster than traditional methods. They have an in-house team of over 150 specialists across design, commercial, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal and external design teams\' building information models on pre-construction projects
  • Develop and implement BIM processes within the design team and company
  • Ensure projects follow BIM standards and procedures
  • Run clash detection workshops with consultants
  • Ensure modelling aligns with company standards
  • Manage the common data environment
  • Produce and implement BIM documents, including BEPs
  • Assist with tenders and sales enquiries
  • Promote new technologies and practices to management
  • Aim to achieve and maintain BIM Level 2 and beyond
  • Manage Revit family library

The Person

The ideal candidate will have strong Revit skills, experience in healthcare or similar sectors, and familiarity with BIM processes. Key qualities include:

  • Experience with a common data environment and BIM coordination
  • Advanced Revit skills
  • Experience with other BIM software (Navisworks, Enscape, Tekla)
  • Background in architectural, building services, or structural design
