Overview

We are seeking aSenior Applications Engineer with deep expertise in containerized application development, deployment, and support. This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable, resilient, and secure application using Kubernetes andDocker . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure and networking, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across the application stack. You will work closely with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to ensure seamless application delivery and performance in a private cloud environment. This role will also support key eDiscovery systems including Relativity, Nuix, Brainspace, LAW, and a growing list of internal applications all while interacting as part of a global team of engineers working both independently and collaboratively to maintain and troubleshoot Consilio’s systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications usingKubernetesandDocker
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance
  • Implement best practices for container security, scalability, and observability
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response efforts
  • Document architecture, processes, and troubleshooting guides

Other Responsibilities

  • Ensure uptime, scalability, and performance of common 3rd party and internally developed eDiscovery applications
  • Participate in a variety of projects related to the maintenance of eDiscovery applications
  • Provide timely responses and resolutions to requesters within defined departmental SLAs
  • Assist with monthly application testing outside of normal work hours
  • Participate in weekly code deployments for internal applications
  • Identify and analyze trends and create reports for management team
  • Serve as an escalation point for our front-line IT & Application Support teams
  • Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members on a regular basis
Qualifications

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or another relevant field preferred
  • Working knowledge of the EDRM
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a ticketing system or other defined ticketing workflow
  • 5+ years working with containerized apps and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, etc
  • 5+ years working in a Linux environment
  • 5+ years working in a Windows environment
  • Experience and exposure with YAML configurations

Other Optional Experience

  • Experience with technologies like Ansible, Jenkins, Harness, and other deployment technologies is a plus
  • Relativity Certifications, specifically Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) and Relativity Infrastructure Specialist
  • MS SQL Server certifications and/or experience writing advanced T-SQL queries
  • Brainspace Certifications
  • Powershell with t-SQL a plus
