The role of the Client Solutions Manager is key to LOD UK’s success in the European market over the next few years. A busy, client‑facing role with a blend of sales and account management, this role drives revenue generation, protection and growth. It is also key to maintaining LOD’s market‑leading brand and position as the top ALSP in Europe. We are looking for a highly credible B2B sales professional to help us generate additional new long‑term client relationships across a range of sectors.
To succeed, you will be someone who enjoys generating and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders within large blue‑chip companies. You will have a strategic mind and be focused on long term opportunities for recurring revenue. You will build rapport quickly and can help clients identify the right legal resourcing solutions for their needs. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is looking for more ownership and flexibility to use their full business development skillset to genuinely make an impact in an ambitious (but fun) team. This is a hybrid role, based in our London office.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and pursue a focused sales pipeline, developed from thoughtful analysis and research of both cold and warm leads.
- Generate sales opportunities and maximise the impact of new business meetings with General Counsel and their teams.
- Build robust relationships through client‑centric communication and suitable engagement across all levels on the client account, aiming to become a trusted adviser.
- Work closely with clients to problem solve their needs and develop tailored solutions to their requirements.
- Design and execute creative approaches to strategic pitch opportunities and formal tenders.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across LOD teams to deliver conversions and good, commercially suitable deals.
- Take the lead, whilst working collaboratively, to address issues, client pushback and commercial decisions that enable revenue‑generation without creating risk.
- Help inform the development and delivery of LOD services.

Additional Qualifications And Skills
- Be highly commercial, with at least 3 years’ experience in consultative selling roles within professional services/B2B organisations.
- Have existing knowledge of the Legal industry or a drive to immerse yourself quickly to get up to speed.
- Have a track record of defining and managing an effective sales pipeline.
- Be able to build trust and rapport quickly with Heads of Legal, General Counsel and their teams.
- Be able to problem solve and think analytically, in order to tailor LOD’s services to client needs.
- Have high impact communication, presentation and pitching skills.
- Be motivated by improvement and inspire and support colleagues to deliver a superior client experience.
- Be educated to degree level.
