Overview
As a Senior Consultant in Forensic Investigation and Expert Witness Services EMEAA, you will play a critical role in leading complex projects related to data collection, preservation, and digital forensics for high-stakes litigation cases around the globe. You will utilise your technical expertise in digital forensic tools, technology, and protocols as well as your confident approach to consulting to manage, oversee and provide guidance on the collection and management of electronically stored information (ESI) from a wide variety of data sources.
You will be working with international internal and external stakeholders navigating diverse business cultures and regulatory environments. Travel will be required both locally and internationally to conduct data collections at client sites. This includes visiting various locations to collect data from strategic businesses and executives, which requires a high level of professionalism, confidence, and discretion. You will be expected to manage these collections with the utmost care, ensuring that all data is gathered in a legally compliant and technically sound manner. Engaging with senior executives and other high-level personnel during these collections demands strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to represent the company with authority and professionalism, while maintaining a respectful and confidential approach to sensitive information.
A key part of your role will involve oversight and mentoring of the junior team members, reviewing their work for quality assurance, ensuring adherence to best practices and advising on workflows in line with best practices.

Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage data preservation and digital forensics projects from start to finish, ensuring professional responsive communications, seamless execution, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- The collection and management of ESI, ensuring it aligns with legal, regulatory, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure projects are executed efficiently, maintaining clear communication across teams and clients.
2. Mentoring & Quality Control:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants, helping them build technical expertise and fostering their professional growth.
- Conduct thorough reviews of junior team members’ work, providing constructive feedback to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in digital investigations.
- Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment to continually improve the team’s skills and output.
3. Consulting:
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice on data preservation, collection methods, and investigative strategies in complex litigation cases.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs, tailoring your approach to deliver optimal solutions and outcomes.
- Provide recommendations to clients, ensuring clear communication of complex technical information.
4. Technical Expertise:
- Apply in-depth knowledge of digital forensic tools, technology, and methodologies in relation to the defensible data collections including document management systems, servers, mobile devices, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure the appropriate use of protocols and best practices in the preservation and collection of data from various sources, including servers, mobile devices, and cloud platforms.
- Research, test and update workflows regularly to ensure that the team is utilising the most efficient and effective tools and techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and create defensible options for data preservation and collection to ensure the integrity and reliability of the process.
5. Cross-Border Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross boarder teams to ensure alignment and that all stakeholders are kept informed throughout projects.
- Facilitate coordination and collaboration between different teams to ensure a unified approach to client needs and project execution.
6. Travel and Data Collection:
- Required to travel both locally and internationally for on-site data collections.
- Conduct data collections from key executives and senior personnel, ensuring professionalism and confidence.
- Represent the company with authority and professionalism during interactions with high-level stakeholders.
- Safeguard sensitive information while maintaining discretion and respect in all client engagements.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Contribute to client presentations, providing clear and actionable insights
- Create and conduct educational presentations to internal departments to provide updates on ongoing initiatives, educate on new workflows.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to clients.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills:
- 3+ years of proven experience in digital forensics, data preservation, and electronic discovery, particularly in complex litigation or legal environments.
- Experience in working directly with clients, providing consulting services in digital forensics or related fields.
- Leadership skills with a proven ability to manage projects and mentor junior team members.
- Expertise in digital forensic tools and technologies, including EnCase, Cellebrite, Oxygen, FEC and other relevant platforms.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in forensic computing or equivalent relevant experience.
- Certifications in digital forensics (e.g., EnCE, CFCE, CCE) or relevant fields.
- Familiarity with industry compliance standards, data protection laws, and privacy regulations.
