The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Paralegals required to work with us in the in-house legal litigation team with experience or keen interest in dealing with claims. You will be required to deal with claims from inception to settlement, handling your own case load of claims. We will consider candidates with or without LPC, but with a strong interest in this field. This is an exciting time to join a busy department gaining exposure to complex work and the role offers great opportunity for future development and potential support from us for the SQE route.
Responsibilities
- Managing claims and maintaining records through case management system
- Work through negotiation of settlement, litigating where necessary
- Independently dealing with key stakeholders and third parties to progress claims to achieve a successful recovery
- Confidently discuss claims on the phone and progress them to settlement
- The ability to work within a team but to also have your own responsibilities, effectively handling your own case load, meet all deadlines and achieve personal target
- Excellent communication skills and a professional work attitude, with strong attention to detail
- A highly flexible approach and the capability to work well within a team environment.
