Conservefor Ltd is looking for an experienced Tractor Operator to join our team on a seasonal contract through to March 2027.
The role involves operating tractors and specialist machinery on peatland restoration projects across the North of England, primarily cutting and harvesting heather brash and cutting Molinia (purple moor-grass).
Applicants should have good practical tractor-driving experience and be confident operating machinery on rough and uneven upland ground.
Some walking and practical site work will also be required.
Our headquarters are based in Bentham, with working away required for some projects.
A permanent position may be considered for the right person.
