An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Surveyor to join ConservatoryLand at our Mansfield Woodhouse headquarters. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our in-house technical survey team and are looking for a capable and detail-focused individual to support our remote sales and manufacturing process. This is an office-based role with all surveying carried out remotely. No home visits are required.

Operating from our Mansfield headquarters, we use a modern remote sales and survey model supported by an experienced in-house technical team and a national network of approved installers. The business has grown significantly in recent years and continues to invest in people, systems and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out full technical surveys remotely using phone, email, photographs and video
- Produce detailed technical drawings and installation instructions
- Identify and resolve technical issues prior to manufacture
- Prepare accurate bills of materials using manufacturing software
- Provide clear technical guidance to customers and approved installers
- Support both self-build customers and installation projects
About You
You will have proven experience surveying and specifying conservatories and a strong understanding of construction and installation practices. You will be confident communicating technical information clearly and comfortable working in a remote survey environment.
Key Requirements
- Experience in conservatory surveying and installation
- Strong technical and construction knowledge
- Good communication skills with both customers and installers
- Confident using computer software systems
- Comfortable working without visiting customer properties
- Experience using Window and Conservatory software would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm - 42.5 hours per week
Occasional weekend work - 9:00am - 3:00pm - 6 hours
