Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced MIG Welder to become an integral part of our team. In this position you will play a key role in the production and assembly of premium metal components tailored for conservatory orders, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials including stainless steel and mild steel.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing paperwork to complete jobs to specification.
• Inspect and test welds for quality, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in a safe working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.

Key Competencies

• Proven experience as a MIG welder in a manufacturing or construction setting. Minimum of 1 years experience required.
• Strong ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and manufacturing paperwork.
• Proficient in the use of welding tools and equipment.
• Ability to work with various materials and thicknesses.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a workshop environment.
• Certification in welding.
