Southwold House is a social, supportive home offering people different levels of care depending on their individual needs. With a mix of private flats and rooms, everyone gets to enjoy their own space and privacy, whilst also being encouraged and supported to be an active part of the household and be involved in cooking, cleaning and making decisions about how the home is run.
Your role includes:
- Ensuring the service runs smoothly and achieves quality excellence.
- Encouraging personal growth and development of the team.
- Enabling the people we support to lead a fulfilling life and maximise their independence.
- Ensuring the wellbeing of the team is prioritised, providing them with the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel.
- Managing financial performance and ensuring resources are appropriately managed and controlled.
- Promoting quality assurance and working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations.
- Ensuring full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance.
The role requires you to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have plenty of experience working with those with Learning Disabilities or complex behaviours.
- Be an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge, with a background in Supported Living or Residential Services.
- Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care; support and training towards Level 4 and 5 is available.
- Bring strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be confident, flexible and efficient, happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call.
- Be committed to providing person-centred care that provides equitable opportunities to all of those you are working for.
