Your Service

Wallace Crescent is a calm but busy home offering a unique style of residential support. People living here have their own individual flats, giving them privacy, independence and an appropriate level of responsibility, but with all the benefits of communal areas and 24/7 support. All support is tailored to each individual person including things like art therapy, fitness classes and taking courses at the local college.

Your Role

  • Ensure the service runs smoothly and achieves quality excellence.
  • Encourage personal growth & development of the team.
  • Enable the people we support to lead a fulfilling life and to maximise their independence.
  • Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised, providing them with the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel.
  • Run the service in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing budget achievement with excellent quality.
  • Effectively manage financial performance, ensuring financial resources are appropriately managed & controlled.
  • Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations.
  • Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance.

The role requires you to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

About You

  • Have plenty of experience working with those with Learning Disabilities or complex behaviours.
  • Be an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge - with a background in Supported Living or Residential Services.
  • Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care - support and training towards Level 4 and 5 is available.
  • Bring strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be confident, flexible and efficient - happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call.
