Role: Team Leader

Salary: £13.41 - £13.71 per hour

Service: Beech Court, SO40 7AY

Shifts: Rotational, 37.5 hours per week

Your Role:

Through understanding the needs of the people you support, you will provide exceptional care that truly changes lives. A career with meaning, you will also have a lot of fun, too - from helping with daily tasks to amazing trips that make dreams come true.

  • Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities - empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.
  • Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions.
  • Lead the team to communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too.
  • Engage in learning and development opportunities for the team ensuring that training compliance levels are met and maintained.

Beech Court is a relaxed, welcoming home that offers everyone who lives there their own personal space via self-contained flats - encouraging independence, whilst receiving continuous specialist support with their health, their home, and of course achieving their personal goals, too. Experience a calm and cosy atmosphere in communal areas, where people love to get together to build Lego, listen to music or enjoy some crafting.

You will already have experience in the social care sector (Mental Health Support Worker, Care Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant) but your values are most important to us. Values influence every interaction between our colleagues and the people we support. They are a promise that:

If successful, we will organise your Free DBS Check and references prior to confirming your start date. Your journey will then begin with a 3-day online induction, before heading to the service to get started.
