As a Deputy Manager at Butterfields in Milton Ernest, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, you'll work alongside the Service Manager to lead a great team and deliver high-quality, person-centred support. You'll bring experience from social care and first-line management, with the confidence to lead colleagues and deputise for the Service Manager when required.

Your Role
Located in Bedfordshire, Butterfields is a newly developed specialist Supported Living service, supporting people to flourish in their own apartments. By holding their own tenancy, people living at the service will have their own home, whilst being supported 24/7 by a team to learn new life skills, achieve their goals, and enjoy every moment in their new home. There are 6 spacious self-contained apartments across 3 floors, with lift access, with a large open plan living space, double bedroom and bathroom. As Deputy Manager, you'll support the Service Manager with the day-to-day running of the service, providing leadership to colleagues and helping the people we support live fulfilling lives with choice, independence and privacy.
- Lead and support colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, deputising for the Service Manager when required.
- Ensure support plans, risk assessments and records reflect people's individual needs, choices and aspirations.
- Coach and develop colleagues through regular support, supervision and learning opportunities.
- Support recruitment, induction and colleague performance to help build and maintain a strong team. xgikmsk
- Help maintain quality, regulatory and health and safety standards across the service.
