This is a Belfast-based role, embedded within Consello Ireland's creative and design team, with a close working relationship with the CMO and global marketing function in New York. The individual will serve as the digital creation engine while ensuring all output is aligned to firmwide brand standards and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain Consello’s websites across platforms including WordPress and other CMS environments, ensuring consistent performance, security, and an exceptional user experience
- Architect and develop B2B and enterprise-grade web experiences with a sharp focus on clarity, and stakeholder-appropriate visual storytelling
- Manage ongoing website maintenance, performance optimisation, and quality assurance, including page speed, accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
- Code marketing emails within HubSpot, Salesforce, and other CRM platforms
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain a library of digital assets including LinkedIn graphics, digital banners, branded templates, and email visuals
- Work closely with the Belfast design team and global counterparts to ensure digital output reflects Consello’s distinctive positioning and visual standards while aligning with firmwide strategy
- Where capacity allows, support the broader marketing and creative team with additional digital design needs, such as presentation design, social graphics, and email creative
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Media, or a related field
- 3–6 years of professional experience in web design and front-end development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating B2B or enterprise-level digital work
- Expert-level proficiency in WordPress including custom theme development, plugin management, and performance optimisation; experience with additional CMS platforms a strong plus
- Solid front-end development skills including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proven experience coding responsive, cross-client HTML emails within HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent CRM and marketing automation platforms
- Strong command of design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or equivalent, with the ability to produce finished digital assets independently
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and a commitment to inclusive design practices
Personal Characteristics:
- A self-starter with a genuine passion for design craft and digital innovation, comfortable taking ownership of projects from brief to delivery
- Strong visual sensibility and aesthetic judgement, with the ability to balance creative ambition with the practical requirements of a professional services brand
- Collaborative by nature, with the communication skills to work effectively across a distributed, global team
- Solutions-oriented and adaptable — comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining high standards of output
- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the execution of coded emails and responsive web layouts
- Proactive, curious, and committed to continuous learning in a fast-evolving digital landscape
- A team player with a low ego, ready to contribute ideas and support colleagues across the firm’s creative and marketing functions
