Position Overview

The Midweight Graphic Designer will be a valued member of Consello Ireland’s Belfast-based creative team, helping bring the firm’s brand to life across a wide range of formats and touchpoints. This is a hands-on role suited to a versatile designer who is comfortable moving between presentations, social content, digital assets and print collateral, all while maintaining the polish and consistency expected of a firm that works at the highest levels of business.

The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with the speed and flexibility needed to support a busy, fast-moving advisory firm. This person will work closely with colleagues across the Belfast creative team and the broader Consello marketing function, translating briefs into compelling visual work that helps the firm engage senior executives, clients and prospects. Work will primarily support internal and firmwide marketing needs, but will also extend to client-facing projects, helping deliver polished, on-brand materials for Consello’s advisory engagements.

This is a Belfast-based role, but as this role primarily supports our New York marketing team, flexibility will be required to provide overlap with US working hours. The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple projects independently, communicating directly with stakeholders, and taking ownership of work from brief through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce digital assets including email creative, digital banners, and other marketing collateral in line with campaign and always-on marketing needs
  • Create engaging social media graphics, primarily for LinkedIn, that support the firm’s thought leadership and brand visibility goals
  • Design print collateral such as event materials, signage, and branded stationery where required
  • Design a broad range of materials including client presentations and pitch decks, internal documents, and other business-critical collateral
  • Work closely with the Belfast creative team and colleagues across the global marketing function to ensure all output reflects Consello’s brand standards and visual identity
  • Maintain and organise design templates and brand assets to support consistency and efficiency across the team
  • Stay current with design trends and bring fresh ideas and improvements to the firm’s visual output

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Art, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered
  • 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within a fast-paced agency, in-house creative team, or professional services environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating range across presentations, digital, social and print design
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with Figma a plus
  • Strong experience designing in PowerPoint or Google Slides to a high standard, including custom layouts and templates
  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, and brand consistency across formats
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to deadline

Personal Characteristics:

  • A versatile, all-round designer who enjoys variety and moves comfortably between different formats and project types
  • Strong visual sensibility and aesthetic judgement, balanced with the practical needs of a professional services brand
  • Collaborative and communicative, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage a busy workload independently
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly to refine creative work
  • A team player with a low ego, ready to support colleagues across the firm’s creative and marketing functions
