Plans for growth
As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be pivotal in building the Profitr backend platform that powers client applications.
You’ll also complete occasional frontend work as needed.
Collaborating with an experienced team, you’ll help shape the platforms architecture and ensure it meets the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Platform Development: Build and maintain a state-of-the-art Web2/Web3 fintech platform using Typescript/Javascript and supporting libraries.
- Collaborate: Partner with the Engineering Manager, architects, and team members to drive engineering best practices and solutions.
- Integration: Design and implement integrations with the broader Republic platform and 3rd party vendor products.
- Full Stack Development: Contribute across the stack, including frontend, APIs, and backend system, with an emphasis on the APIs and backend development.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Design efficient, scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Technology Roadmap: Help define and execute the projects technological roadmap.

- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable, data-intensive applications.

- Your Technical Toolkit
- Backend Experience: Strong skills in Graph QL API design and development.
- Proficiency: Deep understanding of backend technologies, architecture patterns, and best practices building reliable and efficient systems.
- Java Script/Type
Script: Strong skills with frontend libraries (React/React Native), and backend frameworks (Node. js, Bun. js, Nest. js, etc.).
- Database Skills: Deep understanding of relational databases (Postgre SQL, My SQL) and familiarity with No SQL solutions (Redis, Mongo DB, etc.).
- Cloud Services: Proficiency with AWS hosting services (RDS, Lambda, S3, R53, EC2).
- System Setup: Linux proficiency, including setting up web servers with tools like nginx, git, and Docker.
- Testing: Experience writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests using tools like Mocha, Jest, and others.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with Github Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of site security principles (e. g. CSRF, XSS, etc.).
- Preferred Skills (learnable On The Job)
- Working experience with fintech products or platforms.
- Experience building high-speed interfaces.
- Interest or experience in market-related projects.
