We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure, scalable Azure environment supporting AI and LLM-based services.

Role Overview

You will work closely with architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver robust cloud solutions. The role involves hands-on engineering as well as acting as an escalation point for infrastructure issues, including occasional out-of-hours support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/ARM)
  • Support deployment and management of AI-focused platforms and containerised workloads
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and security best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and escalation support to global support teams
  • Maintain clear technical and operational documentation
  • Work with security teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise cloud infrastructure, including cost efficiency

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/ARM or similar)
  • Understanding of containerisation technologies
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices
  • Experience supporting production cloud environments (2nd/3rd line level or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM platforms desirable
