Conrad Energy is looking for commercially minded and analytical individuals to join our growing energy supply business. As an Energy Analyst, you will support the day-to-day running of the business by analysing data, resolving issues, and improving processes across key areas such as billing, registration, pricing and systems. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your analysis and attention to detail will directly impact customer outcomes, operational performance and profitability. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate billing, efficient operations and a high-quality customer experience, directly supporting the growth and profitability of the business.

The Role:
- Analyse data to support operational and commercial decision-making
- Investigate and resolve data issues, exceptions and discrepancies
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
- Support key processes across the energy supply lifecycle (e.g. billing, registration, pricing, settlements)
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services
- Assist with customer onboarding and respond to internal and external queries
- Prepare and maintain reports, models and datasets
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce cost and increase efficiency
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, modelling, handling large datasets)
- Experience working with data, including extraction, manipulation and analysis
- Experience with SQL or Python, and familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Ability to present data clearly through reports, dashboards or visualisations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Problem-solving mindset
Desirable:
- Experience in the UK energy market (electricity or gas supply)
- Knowledge of industry areas such as billing, registration or pricing
- Experience building reports, dashboards or databases
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
Education:
- Degree in a numerate, technical or related discipline preferred
