This is a lead role within the London based team and the incoming Project Architect will be expected to perform in a capacity that will involve the management and guidance of other team members - whilst liaising with clients and consultants effectively.
The successful Project Architect will work directly with senior management on the design and development of projects - from concept stage right through to the completion of a project. The role will be as an Architect, both leading an “in house” team of architectural staff and also an external design team comprising sub-consultants for educational schemes.Project Architect Requirements:ARB/RIBA Chartered ArchitectMinimum 5 years post qualification experiencePrevious experience within the Education sector - essentialRecent (2021-25) Department of Education Schools experience on the current DfE Contractors Framework 21Demonstrable Secondary School project experienceGood communications skills - client facing role, experience of the CEM Process.Experience of working with Contractor teams on the DfE High Value BandProficiency with ArchiCAD will be highly desirable but those proficient with Revit will also be sought afterDemonstrable job-running abilitySound knowledge of current UK legislationHand-Drawing/Sketching skills - advantageousFull UK Driving licence
