We are currently working with a well-established, dynamic property consultancy seeking a talented and motivated Building Surveyor to join their team in their central London office. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough building inspections, identifying and assessing the condition of structures.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommend solutions for any identified issues or defects.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, health and safety standards, and regulations.
- Provide advice on repairs, maintenance, and improvements for both residential and commercial properties.
- Assist in managing the design and implementation of building projects.
- Collaborate with other professionals such as architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years practical experience working within another building consultancy role.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and health and safety standards.
- Experience in surveying commercial or retail properties.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
