Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially aware Chartered Structural Engineer to join their growing team in an Associate‑level position. This opportunity is ideally suited to a motivated professional looking to play a key role in project delivery while contributing to the wider leadership and development of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from inception through to completion, overseeing design, specification and detailing of a wide range of construction materials.
  • Review calculations, drawings and documentation produced by other engineers and technicians, exercising excellent technical judgement and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Carry out structural inspections and prepare clear, concise technical reports.
  • Communicate complex engineering matters effectively, both verbally and in writing, and interact regularly with clients, produce technical reports, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Engineer with strong technical background in structural engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception through to completion.
  • Detailed understanding of Eurocodes.
  • Experience in design, specification and detailing.
