Role Purpose
The Sub-Agent is responsible for supporting the management of Large Civils projects by acting as a liaison between the main contractor and subcontractors. Working across Highways and Power projects, this role ensures that works are coordinated efficiently, standards are maintained, and project programmes are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities on site
- Assist in setting out, quality checks, and site inspections
- Monitor work progress and report to the Project Manager or Construction Manager
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and as-built documentation
- Travel nationwide to oversee multiple project sites as required
- Support problem-solving and resolving site issues promptly
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth operations
Skills & Experience
- Experience in civil engineering, construction, or subcontractor management
- Knowledge of site procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements
