Planner65,000 - 75,000 plus packagePermanentEdinburgh, ScotlandCommercialConrad Consulting are working with a leading construction and development business who are looking to appoint a Planner / Senior Planner to join a major development project in Edinburgh.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile development, playing a key role in the planning and delivery of a complex project.The Role of the Planner/ Senior Planner:Working as part of the project team, you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes, working closely with construction, commercial and operational teams to ensure the project remains on programme.The position would suit an experienced Planner looking to take the next step, or an established Senior Planner seeking a new challenge on a major development.Key Responsibilities of the Planner:Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Asta Powerproject.Monitor progress against agreed programmes and key milestones.Work closely with site, commercial and project teams to ensure effective programme delivery.Identify potential delays, risks and programme issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.Provide regular programme updates and reports to project stakeholders.Attend programme and progress meetings.Coordinate programme activities across multiple workstreams and contractors.Support the wider project team with planning, sequencing and delivery strategy.Ensure programmes are accurately maintained and reflect current project progress.Requirements of the Planner:Previous experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within the construction sector.Proven experience using Asta Powerproject.Strong knowledge of construction planning, sequencing and programme management.Experience working on large-scale developments or complex construction projects.The ability to analyse programmes, identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.A proactive, organised and commercially aware approach.Experience with Primavera P6 would be advantageous but is not essential.What's on Offer for the Planner/ Senior Planner:65,000-75,000 salary, depending on experience.Car allowance.Major development project based in Edinburgh.Opportunity to work with an established construction and development business.Excellent long-term career opportunity.If this position sounds of interest please click apply, or reach out directly to our Construction/M&E consultant Daniel who will be able to give further details about this role and other relevant positions
