We are looking to find an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor with sports & leisure experience to join our client’s energetic team in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to progress their career in a progressive and supportive setting.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will deliver exceptional professional services across a diverse range of projects. You will provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost management, procurement, value engineering, and risk management. Additionally, you will take a lead role in mentoring and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • Advising on financial feasibility of projects at early stages.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reports.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial advice to project teams and clients.
  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors and other team members.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with the client and all stakeholders.

Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • Experience in sports & leisure is essential, and sport stadia would be highly advantageous.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • MRICS qualification with a proven track record in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contract.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
